Dr. Lindsey Scudder
Working with animals and their owners has always brought me a sense of joy and accomplishment. The human-animal bond is an amazing relationship that I feel extremely fortunate to be an important part of. From a young age, I knew working with animals would be my purpose and passion. I love hearing about and seeing the joy animals can bring into someone’s life.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University and graduated from Veterinary School at Michigan State University in 2017. Upon graduation, I was fortunate enough to join Family Friends Veterinary Hospital and become part of this amazing team. Working with great doctors who practice high quality medicine makes going to work easy. Since being at Family Friends, my interests have grown in soft tissue surgery, reproduction, internal medicine, and ophthalmology. I love working through complex cases or jumping in to an emergency surgery to retrieve a toy your pet shouldn’t have swallowed. While I am at work, you may meet my Golden Retriever, Dixie, sleeping in my office or see a picture of my Australian Shepherd, Wrigley, hanging on the wall. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband, gardening, and spending time outside. I look forward to meeting your pets and keeping them as healthy and happy as possible.
