Dr. Christina Cooper
I have always been compelled to work with animals and I believe above all in a good quality of life, especially for our pets who give and do so much to enhance our own lives, and therefore I am one of the lucky people who is excited to come to work every day and fulfill this passion! I graduated from veterinary school at Michigan State University (Go Green!) in 2011 (with my good friend Dr. Ryan Carpenter!). I then completed a small animal rotating internship and practiced as an emergency clinician at BluePearl Veterinary Partners before transitioning to general practice with the wonderful team at Family Friends. My favorite part of coming to work is getting to know pets and their people, and helping them to feel good! I especially have an interest in cardiology, trauma and wound management, toxicities, anemia, and feline medicine. Outside of the veterinary world, I love to spend time with my husband and son and our dog Pete and three cats Ramone, Max, and Phil. I like to travel to “Up North” Michigan, garden, canoe, and attend sporting events – especially to cheer on my Spartans and Tigers!
